Biography
Li Ma holds a Ph.D. in Radiochemistry from the University of Missouri and a Master's in Organic Chemistry from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She is currently a Scientist I at Invicro LLC (Perceptive) in Boston, MA, specializing in drug discovery for cancer oncology and inflammation diseases. Her research spans radiopharmaceutical development, pre-clinical and clinical evaluations, nuclear medicine imaging, and therapy. She has experience in PET/MRI imaging, radiotherapy, tissue handling, cell culture, in vivo animal models, and in vitro bioassays.
Li Ma has 11 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including Science Translational Medicine, Biochemistry, Bioconjugation Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Nuclear Medicine Biology. She has received multiple awards and fellowships, including the Troutner Fellowship in Radiochemistry, Pacifichem Student Travel Bursary, and David Troutner Fellowship.
She is an active reviewer for two scientific journals and has served in professional memberships such as SNMMI (Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging) and ACS (American Chemical Society).
Her research contributions focus on novel radiopharmaceutical agents, biomarker imaging, and targeted therapies for oncology.
