Biography
Dr.V. Manikandan Joined as an Assistant professor in the Medical Biotechnology and Integrative Physiology department in December 2022. He completed his under graduation in Biotechnology at Vysya College, affiliated with Periyar University in Salem, Tamil Nadu, in 2016. His post-graduation on Master's in Biotechnology at the Department of Biotechnology, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, in 2018. He has done his PhD at the Department of Biotechnology, College of Science and Humanities, SRM institute of science and technology, Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu, Tamil Nadu. His doctoral research focused on screening the bioactive properties of peptides in In-Vitro and In-Vivo models (zebrafish embryos). He has published 23 papers in various national and international journals, a total Cumulative Impact factor of 104.912, Citations: 348 & H index:10. Experience (Teaching and Research): 3.5 years, and his research area focused on the characterization of Peptides properties, Toxicity. Bioactive molecules from various sources and their Anti-oxidant & Anti-cancer activity.
