Biography
The researcher works on catalytic applications and development of new processes for the valorization of residual biomass, with emphasis on the production of fuels and raw materials for the chemical industry. Its main lines of work are the pyrolysis of lignocellulosic biomass and the co-processing of bio-oils in refineries.
However, other options for using these liquids are being investigated simultaneously, such as the performance of different solid catalysts for their catalytic valorization, the recovery of valuable chemical products from them, and their use in asphalt mixtures. She is an expert in characterization of bio-oils and therapeutic cannabis derivatives and management of highly complex analytical equipment.
